Autistic lightning rod who is playing travel agent lately, plus $9 million, plus arrogant fan base = hate.

The two 10-3 seasons heightened expectations a bit too quickly. If he had gone 7-6, 8-5, 9-4, people would be talking about how he is on track to build a championship team.

This year's team could be really good, but the schedule is a killer.

Only my anecdotal evidence of hearing ESPN talk about him every time college football is discussed.

His record is only 2 games better than Hoke after his first 3 years (and he actually won something).

I think they'll be very good. You'll then see a lot of these same posters say "I never said he was overrated"

I don’t have any hate for him at all. I just can’t see where he is this elite top notch coach that the media claims he is. There is no proof of it.

Who gives a damn how much he is paid?

Michigan paid what his market value was, and would’ve paid more to be out of the Brady Hoke and Rich Rod cycle of shite.

Why do you or anyone not paying his salary care about his salary? What’s it to you?

*Dependent on beating Wisconsin in the B1G title game.

To be fair, Harbaugh took over as Michigan was going into a slump and Michigan State, Penn State, and Ohio State were rolling. Heck of a hard path. I'd say he overachieved in 2015, was as close as you could get in 2016, and 2017 had lost a ridiculous number of starters.

2018 and 2019 are the money years. He needs to win the division. And he needs to fix the trend against Ohio State. I think Michigan is 1-14 in the last 15 games.

Agreed, we have to recognize and comprehend this is the winningest program in the history of college football we're talking about here with a storied, Blue Blood tradition and they have not accomplished much in a long time. That is almost an unthinkable notion to associate with such a legendary football program but that currently is the case for UM unless Harbaugh reverses that trend and accomplishes what you prescribe. Its gonna be a hell of a season, man.

I hate him for his far left politics and the fact that he's so outspoken.

He's the Steve Kerr of NCAAFB.

You say this, but I don't think I've ever seen a positive thread about Harbaugh on this board. Threads like this saying he gets more hate than he deserves are about as positive as people get.

I've yet to see anyone talking about him like Saban. He rebuilt an awful Stanford program. He was successful with the Niners. At Michigan, he overachieved year 1, was a single call from the CFP in year 2 and underachieved/got crippled by QB injuries in year 3.

Yep, I've already asked him proof, still waiting for him to respond.

Jimbo will do something similar.

In 4 years, after several throttlings, LSU fans will change their tune to "we shoulda got him when we had the chance."

We'll now have to deal with Jimbo after Saban retires.
