I'll admit I'm not scientifically educated with the swing. I played a little professionally and always went by an old school way of swinging (Hogan) and have a lot of friends who still play either PGA Tour, Nationwide, or mini/developmental tours, and none of those guys are fans of Foley. I am just looking at it all at how it looks to me with results. With the players Foley has he only has 1 major and that was with Justin Rose last year.

D plane is explains by how path and plane aren't the same. Your path is derived from how far you hit the ball from low point on the inclined plane. If you're hitting down on the ball and swinging exactly down the plane line your path will actually be right of the target. That is why a plane of 0 and a face of 0 will actually hook. Good enough?

No but I have watched the essential d plane by Brian manzella from NOLA and watched him teach. I've also read the physics of golf by Theodore Jorgsen multiple times, which is where the d plane theory originated. I've actually got the book right in front of me. Ill write your name in the d plane model of the book and email it to you.

You have to wonder if Tiger would have had more majors already if he hadn't changed coaches for personal reasons in the past. Worrying about the coach taking credit was pretty silly compared to the primary goal of winning more majors.
