As far as being too technical I'd like to just add one thing. There is no such thing as a coach knowing too much about physics and geometry of the golf swing. He can however not transfer the information properly. When you see a chronic hack slicer I see a guy with a wide open face that is causing his path to be way left and the further left you swing the aoa gets steeper. I don't tell him that shite. First thing ill do is strengthen his grip. He has no idea usually why and for good reason, he just complies because he wants to get better.

Tiger blames Butch for his knee issues and for good reason. Nothing against Butch, he's a good, not top 10, but really good instructor. He just put so much torque on Tiger's lower body his ligaments eventually have. I think that has something to do with his back issues too. Tigers problem isn't having good enough teaching, it's all his ego. To me, foley is a top 10 teacher in the world.

That strikes me as a strange take. Butch has coached a number of other major players including Phil, Els, Love, Leonard, and Norman. I don't see why you think Butch is to blame for his violent swing - it seems more likely that the issue was Tiger's desire to hit the shite out of the ball because he was such a great long ball hitter earlier in his career.

I hate when people say this. It's a fricking game there is no "right way." I'm sorry Tiger Woods banging a lot of women offends you.

Well I'm gonna throw Leonard out because he wasn't a long hitter. Look at DL3, Els, and Norman. They were all know for how "effortless" their swigs were. For the first two, their power accumulation came from how tall they were and the length of their swing arc. Tiger had this thing in his swing with Harmon where he violently snapped his left foot open to help clear his hips with the driver. That destroyed his knee. And I do believe that was a move that Harmon "installed". Even though all those guys were taught by Butch they were all different than Tiger

You dug yourself into a hole when you couldn't handle simple path, plane, and angle of attack talk. Are you sure you wish to continue. It's obvious that your reading comprehension is also behind you understanding of power accumulators in the golf swing.

Not really. I left work, drove home then looked at my phone to see you called butch not a top 10 instructor. So i commented on that. Throwing major shady dude. No need for that. But hey if you can lead tiger to 19 majors then please do so.
