Also in the real world, people realize that you don't throw away a promising asset due to one mistake.

let it be known this fricking shite fan is in the minority. Our fans waited at the airport until 1 am holding signs saying the love Williams. Our board is filled with posts about feeling bad for Williams.
This.
Scott Norwood had thousands chanting for him in Buffalo after missing the game winning Superbowl kick. Just imagine though if there was Twitter/ Facebook/ Social media when Norwood missed .... Most reasonable people realize it's just a game.

Norwood was released not long after that game and laid low for quite some time

Man, I really do feel bad for Marcus Williams.
Why do people keep saying this?
Players are paid millions of dollars, more money in a year, than we will ever see in our entire lifetimes, to not frick up like he did last night.
I don't feel sorry for someone that's crying all the way to the bank.

Coaching failed on the last play as much as Marcus Williams did. Should had all 11 players back there. Ridiculous

If Saints fans manage to run him off over that,
Broncos leadership and their fans ran off Rahim Moore back in 2013 after that bs play against the ravens.
He's out of the league now and can't even get a job with the Browns.

And won super bowl 3 years later

People feel bad because we have basic empathy and someone making millions of dollars doesn't change that.
Williams made a terrible play, and there is no denying that, but I can feel bad for a guy who has been working for that moment his whole life and screwed it up. Not only does he feel terrible for the play, but now there are thousands of idiots attacking him over his mistake. So yea I feel bad for a 22 year old who fricked up and is probably in a bad place. A worse place than literally any Saints fan is about the loss

Last weeks “panthers have a new owner” was better.

Yea man, people with money are never sad, or disappointed in themselves, or experience an undeserved level of hatred for something they didn't do on purpose.
To me, not feeling bad for another human for the simple reason that they make a lot of money is immature af.
