That’s my point. They’ve both been injured two seasons yet Tua is the one out of the two labeled as injury prone when Burrow has missed just as much.

Could part of it be that it feels like Tua is a concussion away from being essentially forced to retire (not hoping for that) while burrow is not?

Burrow gets hit more than any other QB and the only reason it isn’t highlighted is because he’s overcome that and has success. Lumping him in with Tua in this regard is intellectually dishonest.

Probably, but why is Burrow not considered another ACL tear away from being forced to retire?

I’ve already said I’d take Burrow 10/10 between the two.im not arguing who’s better, Burrow has been better. I’m just arguing the injury prone moniker that Tua has but Burrow doesn’t.

Burrow takes another tear to that knee he’s done, just like if Tua takes another brutal concussion

If you knew the number of ACL tears and multiple ACL tears in the NFL you’d know that comparison is faulty.

All of it is a what if my man, it doesn’t matter the history of the league. That’s the point, everyone plays what if with Tua but nobody else.

Well what if with Mahomes? Every QB is a hit away

No, it’s based on his history not some random critique of him.

Burrow is labeled as injury prone just like Tua. The difference being Tua’s is concussion related, which anyone with common sense knows is a pretty big deal in today’s NFL.

In 2021, burrow was hit or sacked 134 times

In 2022 154 times

Just one player to show your statement is false

Josh Allen 2021 205 times

Josh Allen in 2022 191 times

That's pretty impressive considering Joe made it further than Josh both of those years.

You still think Tua is “just better” than Burrow now?
He has been this past year.

I think he can continue that. I don’t know if he will.

I think Joe can stay healthy. Idk if he will.

Since Burrow has been in the nfl twice Allen has made it farther and twice burrow has made it further

All 4 seasons burrow has been in the nfl Allen has been hit more than him

Due to two pretty freakish injuries. Joe's not injury prone. He just has bad luck. If he doesn't have a shitty olinemen fall into his knee he isn't even sniffing an injury prone label.

And Burrow has made it further than Allen ever has.

not every QB had their brains mashed 3 times in a season.

some of them can survive their next concussion

Equating rush attempts to being blindsided in the pocket is simply dishonest.

Burrow also doesn’t lead the nfl in hits inside the pocket

Two of them were due to linemen being absolutely terrible at their job.

Tua can't take a fricking sack.

They are not alike.

Tua was concussed on a play where he fell. The two players aren’t remotely comparable
