I suspect it would be useful to do 3 groups of the ten best of each era.
Otto graham best of pre super bowl.
Joe Montana early super to 2000.
Tom Brady 2001 to present.
I would put Aaron Rodgers ahead of several on the current top 25. I saw all but 2 of your list. Sammy Baugh and johnny lujack preceded my time.

Norm van Brocklin still holds the single-game record for passing yardage, 60-plus years ago.
ETA. 27-41, 554 yds., 5 TDs.

Brees ahead of Elway and Payton. Ok

Terry B is a little too high.

Brees is closer to Rivers, Roethlisberger, and Ryan than he is to Rodgers, Manning, and Brady.

Brees ahead of Elway and Payton. Ok
Peyton, you can argue either.

Your top 4 is spot on for the time frames.

I dont think brady wins any super bowls in new orleans. Maybe manning, but we do know Brees did win one. Has a shot this year to. I do think if Brees can somehow pull another super bowl in the twighlight of his career he immediately has to be be mentioned when discussing the goat.

Staubach is too high. Favre too low. Manning way too low. Agree with your 1 & 2.

Sorry but Dan Fouts >>> Ken Anderson and many others on that list. Fouts was a boss.
Your top 3 are spot-on, though. Staubach is too high. I’d also put Bradshaw higher — I mean the guy was 4-0 in Super Bowls, including multiple wins over Staubach

Teams arent' taking Brees over Marino or Elway or Manning or Rodgers.
But I'd take Brees over 14. Young

Brady/Brees/Manning - all 3 of them are about equal, the difference in the numbers are razor thin in any direction IMO. I just don't think you can flatly say any of the 3 are clearly better or clearly inferior based on the numbers, it's just too close.
Meh, it took Manning playing as a walking corpse for two seasons dragging his stats down for him to hit their level. He also has more seasons pre rule changes than the other guys. And he has the best individual seasons. Rodgers and Manning are a cut above the other two.
And the list in the OP is embarrassingly terrible, probably one of the worst ranking lists I've seen. OP should be ashamed, but he's likely too stupid

Rodgers is the best all around quarterback I've seen but obviously if you want to win the big one you take Montana or Brady. Peyton is the best regular season quarterback & Marino probably had the most natural tools. After that it's a cluster.
