Also, keep in mind that the airport and most of the hotels are on the Missouri side, so technically most of the travel revenue for Chiefs game will still go to Missouri for visiting fans
Until they build new ones in Kansas, which is the entire point of getting the stadium there
If a new airport is built in Kansas anywhere near the stadium it will be strictly for the high rollers and likely private. The current airport on the MO side is less than 5 years old and the amount of shipping and logistic developments around the airport are massive and are still being built.

State of MO will lose about $30M a year in revenue they said.
If KCMO and Jackson County drop all taxes that were being levied to support the Royals and the Chiefs the residents of Jackson County should get at least $30 million back in their pockets annually.

Damn, and they said at the time the Raiders new deal would be the last of its kind. They also get basically all revenue which is a shite ton in Vegas.
Raiders paid for over half of their stadium

I like living in KC but I gotta be honest, KC Metro shouldn't be hosting a Super Bowl. It's a week long event so it should be in cities that can support it. SB should rotate between Miami, Vegas, LA, New Orleans and Phoenix. As for the details coming out the fact it's going to have about 10k less seats sucks for the fans. The game atmosphere won't be nearly as good as it is at Arrowhead.
No it won't.
The current configuration of Arrowhead, particularly the bowl, can not be constructed today due to various code restrictions. The stadium is iconic and was definitely worth saving but the Chiefs organization wanted the soulless confines of a domed stadium.

Yeah I’m not reading all that but it sounds like you are jealous that your ex’s new lover is treating her better than you ever could and you are ate up so that sucks for you
I live north of KCMO by the airport and the majority of Chiefs fans I know who live in MO are not blaming the Chiefs for this move, they're blaming the city of KCMO, Jackson County Sports Authority and the State of MO in Jefferson City for not getting together and sweetening the pot over what KS was offering. This shite with the Chiefs situation and Arrowhead has been going on for over 5 years, there was ample time to get something done but the powers that be in MO are apparently not as united as those in KS.

Thank you for the random tidbit. Here's another, the Raiders $750M in public money was at the time the most in history. Which is why I said AT THE TIME it was believed we'd never see a deal that lucrative for a team again i.e. most public money ever + full revenue to the team.
The full venue revenue to the team was a BIG deal for Las Vegas, as it was obviously going to be a massive money maker and sure enough it is, #2 in the world last year behind only Wembley.
Will a new US stadium ever be able to pass Allegiant in revenue? Seems unlikely.
Allegiant Stadium recognized as Billboard's 2025 Highest-Grossing Stadium in the country and second-highest in the world

Why is it the government’s responsibility to subsidize a nepobaby that has had way too much plastic surgery?

The play here is obviously ancillary events and indirect revenue.
Sales tax.

I think in most cases these subsidies make sense,
Most people do not understand these deals.
The state will never collect in taxes what they paid in. But they don’t have to. Government does not exist to make a profit.
What will happen is a lot of citizens and companies will make a lot of money off of the economic impacts created. That tends to result in politicians getting campaign contributions and getting reelected.
Government should create an atmosphere that allowes businesses to make money. That’s what is happening here.

Allegiant Stadium continues to generate a significant economic impact for the city. According to the Las Vegas Raiders Impact Report for 2025, to be released in January 2026, 62% of visitors came to Las Vegas specifically for a live sporting, music or entertainment event at Allegiant Stadium, resulting in an estimated $1.1 billion in economic impact.
So if Kansas City can do 25% of that 6 times, the subsidies are paid for. That’s why these make sense.
