Florida State isn't going to the BIG10 especially without Clemson. They are joined at the hip. Only way they go any conference outside of SEC is if Clemson joins them and I hear Clemson isn't fond of the BIG10 idea.

Oregon state and Washington state to the mountain west.

That would be absolutely brutal.

Isn’t the mountain west a shell of its former self?

Seems like the B1G would like to have Colorado just because of meh academics. Nebraska and Mizzou need to trade conferences, although NU isn’t connected to any SEC states.
Florida State and Clemson are not AAU. Nebraska isn’t either though.

Big 12 got ahead of themselves with the Houston, UCF, etc offers. Adding more schools from the PAC 12 just makes that conference a big mishmash of schools. Reminds me of Conference USA. Adding bodies just to add bodies. Hard to take them serious.

The P12 with WASU and OSU would absorb the high end schools from the MWC and AAC. Schools like Fresno, SDSU, Boise, etc would join with SMU, Tulane, Memphis, UTSA, etc.

College football is already a regional sport

Really only people in the South and Midwest care

I can tell you that the PNW cares. Oregon and UW fans really care about their football and they hate each other.

I'm pretty sure Oklahoma and OSU had an arrangement like that and that never stopped OU from moving.
