Nothing but respect for nYk! They had an answer for everything SA tried, and punished the Spurs for every mistake. Spurs and Wemby should be back! Always GSG. Had fun interacting with some of y'all again on tMSB

Spurs will be fine. Should be the favorites next year honestly
Knicks were a team of destiny and earned every bit of it. I’m happy for that squad. Couple of former Pels get some hardware, too.

Can we get your thoughts of Wemby’s continuous dirty play through the postseason? Curious what a Spurs fan thinks. I’ve heard mixed things from my Spurs friends here in San Antonio

The best teams know how to win. Choking shows they weren't worthy of a championship. Was an issue for them all playoffs. Knicks finally made us pay.

It's people not understanding the full context of the situations most of the time. Wemby gets fouled hard every play and it's rarely called. His elbow was meant for McDaniels (who clocked him in the face without a foul call immediately prior). On the rare times he does retaliate, he's demonized. It is what it is, though. We had an actual dirty player on our team back in the day (Bruce Bowen). Wemby isn't even in the same stratosphere. He also doesn't turn the other cheek like the old Spurs used to. None of the young Spurs do--they like it when teams are physical with them and dish it right back. But Wemby is in no way a dirty player. It's kinda silly the narrative even reached this point (anyone who watched the Minnesota series in full knows better). At the same time, if he becomes a villain (was ginna happen sooner or later if he won enough), I'm perfectly comfortable with that, too. Might get rid of some of the gullible bandwagoners, honestly

No, I know. It was just incredibly hard to believe entire possessions went where he was never even looked at on offense, and Fox would shoot an extremely long 2 instead

I had a good feeling that the ECF was for the championship this year and it turns out that was the case. Believe it or not the last time I was in San Antonio was to see Jalen,Mikel,etc win the national title there with Nova. I will be back in town soon and looking forward to our long awaited Matchup.

Bro literally no one brought up OKC and it’s actually the entirety of the NBA calling him dirty. It’s plain to see, we all watched.
