We know we have some really good pieces and we know what the ceiling is.

Soroka doesn’t have 98 but I think he could be the guy. Touki has tons of upside but a lot has to come together. Hard to say with any of the minor leaguers but Anderson seems to have the most helium atm.

That’s why we’re stockpiling pitchers. It’s a numbers game. We don’t have the obvious ace but the Braves are banking on 1 or 2 of them to exceed expectations and reach that level.

I think it all comes down to Kimbrel’s price tag. I can’t see the Braves offering 20 million a year for a closer. We’re gonna sign somebody over 15 million a year in free agency and probably trade for another piece. The question is who will we sign in free agency, what will we trade for, and what prospects will we move this winter. I think Teheran had a solid second half and could be moved to free some money if need be. I wouldn’t be shocked if we see Ender getting moved.
