We weren't too happy with that in 2010.

Keep TP as bench/1B coach, bring in someone new.

What about current Cubs hitting coach, former long time Rangers hitting coach, Rudy Jaramillo?
Posted on 9/30/11 at 4:27 pm to OBUDan
Former Phillies hitting coach, Milt Thompson?

He would be the first person I'd call if I were Wren.

I like Rudy.
I don't think promoting, demoting, and promoting TP again makes any sense.
Also, Chipper is not going to be a player/coach.

I'd be very pleased with Milt and he is a very realistic candidate. I'm not so sure we can get Rudy.
A few other names just to throw around:
Brook Jacoby, hitting coach for the Reds
Kevin Seitzer, hitting coach for the Royals
Dave Hudgens, hitting coach for the Mets
Gerald Perry, hitting coach for the A's

Anyone that can turn around Francouer's career, if only for one season, certainly deserves consideration.

and melky! both those dudes did very well!

Yeah Seitzer has been impressive.
I wonder how quickly Wren will act on this...

Also a former Brave. As is Gerald Perry who someone else mentioned. But you young timers probably don't remember these dudes as players.
