And then apologized for not throwing more pitches. He is awesome.

Thankfully, we won last night. Losing Morton is a tough, tough loss for us. Good news is, we're up 1-0.

I hope ya'll don't get bent out of shape when you find out who the Braves choose as a replacement for Morton on the roster. It won't be Maddux, Glavine or Smoltz lol

Huge win last night. Our Braves are in a great, great spot tonight with a chance to really put some pressure on the Astros.

Everyone that got in the game last night contributed. All 9 guys had a hit and our pitchers did the damn thing.

Having said that, tonight's Game 2 is the biggest game in the last 20 years in Braves history..... WHY?

Cause we lost Charlie. And starting pitching matters.

If we can get a win tonight with Fried .... and take a 2-0 series lead going back home, I think we'll all feel great.

I'm not sure what the Braves would do for Games 4 and 5 as far as pitching goes.... that's why tonight's game and start by Max Fried are so critical.

If the Astros manage to even up this series tonight.... with us now REALLY short on starting pitching and dependable pitchers.... I won't feel nearly as confident going home tied 1-1.

We need Max Fried to be at his best tonight.... I don't think we can afford to lose tonight (even though Houston's starting pitching looks rough too).

Make sense?

Saw a stat last night ....

Teams that have won Game 1 of the WS.... have gone on to win 20 of the last 23 World Series.....

And we've got Max Fried going tonight!!!!

I respected the fans in gm 6 vs LA talked a little playful trash pregame them stayed out of it. I was responded to his post in the DAT Im sure he understood that

I wish I could understand any of that incoherence. The only one I see trying to start a petty fight is you.

Woof that is bad, and get ready for an even worse ump show tonight.

Hallion is in the bottom 10% of strike zone accuracy.

How we don't have digital strike zones at this point is beyond me.

Now 10 of 11 games the other team has been favored. +1.62 in the World Series, holy shite.

Regardless of what happens tonight, I hope the outcome is decided by the Stros and Braves, not him.

i'd like to have these next two because we have max and ian starting. yeah i know it is maybe not realistic to expect to be up 2-0 or especially 3-0 on the stros. i get it but i am speaking from a position of we have no starters after ian throws game 3. what would we have? 2 straight bullpen games? then max in game 6? ian game 7?

shite we really need these wins when our last two starters throw and we need another good outing from smyly like we got in LA once we get home.

or we can just score 10 runs every game here on out and help alleviate some of that pitcher concern.
