it's kind of stupid to play 2 games in Toronto and then travel to Atlanta to play 2 games against the same team

Only bad thing about the Juan DFA is that we now have the worst defensive 3B in the game out there every day in Johnson. Don't really lose much off the bench as both Juan and CJ were dreadful pinch hitters.

The next two months should be interesting. Based on the peripherals and usage, major regression from CJ and regression from Schafer are to be expected, along with most likely a pretty sizable jump in Heyward's numbers.

I know they think they want to re-sign him and all, but he's 29 and likely won't top his 2012.

The Pads aren't close to contending right now, so may as well ship him off for some other young pieces rather than throwing down decent change to keep him around for his decline.
