Teheran is not better than any of those guys. You’re just saying you want him because he’s a warm body?

Don’t think they go to him until next year. They have several lower ceiling, higher floor arms they would go to before him imo.

I wouldn't be surprised if he's out until 2022....

Hopefully back no later than next year.
Recovery/back to normal activity on Achilles tear is 4/6 months.
If that's what it is.

Really?

Teheran has been a solid 3.00 to 4.50 ERA his whole career. Zero chance Wright finishes better than that this year. Not to mention Julio can pitch way more innings per game than Wright.

Yeah Betances bounced back relatively quickly off his partial tear.

4/6 months to be back to performing at 100 percent on an Achilles injury? Or just to be able to do anything?

Teheran walked more than 80 hitters (career-highs) in each of his last two seasons despite pitching less than 180 innings (career-lows) both years.

He's not good. You're overrating the frick out of him because we no longer have him.

Teheran has walked 167 batters over 350 IP in the last 2 years.

Wright has walked 20 batters over 25 IP in the last 2 years.

Teheran is simply better than Wright by every measure and statistic. The reason he gets so much hate is because he was our #1 or #2 pitcher for almost a decade. He has no business there. But he’s a solid 4-5

With physical therapy, you'll do exercises to make calf muscles stronger & Achilles tendon more flexible so 4-6 months is back to normal recovery.

Hopin the best for Soroka. Hoping for the best for him personally more than for our bArves in this situation. He’s a kid so hopefully he heals quickly. Sucks though

How's Folty doing down at the Gwinnett camp?

Kidding, kind of not kidding.

Get that kid a few cheeseburgers!
