He had such a good start against Miami this weekend, and I want to love Julio so bad... he's just not good.

When Julio has everything under control he's an all star level pitcher. When he doesn't he walks a bunch of guys and gives up a ton of hard contact. He's about as much of a roller coaster from best to worst as you can get.
More often than not he's a guy who gives you 5 or 6 excellent innings but takes so many pitches to do it he can't go any deeper.
He's a perfect as a #4 ish starter and for far too long he's had to be a top of the rotation guy here

You think this team can get us to an NL championship series?
We won’t sniff a late October game.
Only so much the bats can rescue one of the absolute worst pitching staffs in baseball.
Also I’m drunk and even though we will absolutely lose tonight (bc we have seen this a thousand times before) I’ll be happy to be happy about them again when we win again. Yay sportsball.
Also we we havent had a 1-2-3 Inning yet.

He's very inconsistent. Dominates Miami each time out then has nights like tonight where he can't throw a strike for 7 straight pitches.

I feel like he's more inconsistent year to year. May to August of this year was pretty strong minus two back to back starts. Plus this one.
