Folty is so incredibly frustrating. He's a total nut case and is completely unable to stay consistent. A big home crowd was the worst possible thing for him as he came out trying to throw 100 MPH.

Oh hey, so maybe this front office knows what they are doing when they sent down Tucker instead of releasing Culberson for Bautista.

Dude you could've said or alluded to that if you had an idea it was going to happen

Holy fricking shite, Folty.

Leave him in there at this point and let him take his fricking punishment.

THIS is why the Braves, as much as everybody wants to spend on position players, need to spend money on ESTABLISHED starting pitching.

Especially a genuine #1.

Can anyone imagine Folty starting a playoff game? He would have a mental meltdown.

When he started throwing hard at the beginning of the game I started worrying. Dude falls of the mound trying to hit triple digits. Newcomb is starting to figure it out right now that sometimes take a little off to make sure you throw a strike. Folty still doesn’t understand it.

Because Folty is a moron. He still gets visibly pissed at the umpire when he throws a pitch multiple inches off the plate. As said above he's the definition of a mental midget.

ERA is now at 3.97 and FIP in the mid 4s. This is his 4th year in the big leagues. Guy simply cannot be relied on imo. Very mentally weak. We've seen it for parts of 4 seasons now.

Would like to see what he can do out of the pen.

He has a fantastic fastball. As proven over the years his slider and change aren't that good or he'd actually be able to strike people out instead of taking 20 pitches to get through an inning.

Disagree. I like his fire and emotions. He's shown he can be a strong middle of the rotation guy, and has the stuff to go through the order multiple times.

And yeah 6 runs in 2 innings is gonna inflate the ole ERA this early in the year.

Has he? Career 4.71 ERA and 4.45 FIP.

Borderline backend guy to me who I think could get his stuff to play up even more in shorter stints. Needs to establish a reliable secondary pitch badly. Obviously the fastball is ++ in either role.

Ummm OK,that wasn't my point. He's gonna hit 100+ pitches around the 5th inning if he doesn't get knocked
out.Either way bullpen will get plenty of action especially if we get back in the game.
