The Nats just swept the Pirates and the announcers are excited they are back to .500

Acuña is just unreal. I know he’s going to get figured out and have to adjust
Acuna is Venezuelan.
Adjust or go home.
I think you know what I'm sayin'.

Approximately $13 million more could go toward arbitration-eligible players (... Sam Freeman ...).

I've heard the team will likely have at least $50 million to use as they peruse the upcoming offseason's talent-rich free-agent market and address multiple needs, which could include third base, catcher and right field.
How about a fricking #1 starter?

That would be nice but if you add Harper to this ascending young lineup the pitching wouldn’t matter much. We’d score 10 runs a game
Oh and frick the Metropolitans!
Chop on baby Braves!

Not worried about Acuna or Albies get a Fancour or Heyward disease. For some reason some American born players completely overthink the game and have trouble
ignoring the outside noise...many South American have no such issues.Either hit or don't eat as a kid.

Markakis >>>> Heyward And I've had that opinion since the day he left.
For the money/year commitment it’s obviously not close (in Markakis’ favor). No argument from me.
Markakis probably will not end up outperforming Heyward over the 4 year deal thanks to that monster year he had in St. Louis but you were certainly correct about not giving him a long term deal.

Markakis has been a damn good Brave

Just wanted to say I’m enjoying the people in the ATL thread this year.
Much better than many from year’s past.

Especially when Julio does well. And Markakis.

I'm looking forward to the great debate of 2018: Fire/Extend Snitker

Wasn’t thinking of you tbh.

I don’t think AA is going to let one year of blooming early dictate his decision
Posted on 5/3/18 at 5:07 pm to okietiger
I still believe he has to go to reach potential.
