How did he get to 2nd so quick? Was that some sort of magic trick?

Wonder how many times we are going to wind up striking out looking tonight, good grief.

Ya think J-Hey will ever swing at a decent pitch ever again? Jeebus, and after Simmons went all nightcrawler, teleporting to second and begging you to drive him in

Strikezone is all over the place tonight. Hard to know when to take pitches when it's a moving target.

That has to be 6 or 7 so far. This ump is basically calling anything even close to the plate a strike, and no one in our lineup has the sense to realize it.

2nd lowest K rate on the team and as already stated he is hitting more line drives this year than he ever has, just getting extremely unlucky with BABIP.

Kruk is absolutely god awful. My Lord.

I think he has developed a reputation as being an exceedingly passive hitter, so no one is afraid to throw him strikes early in the count. He usually does a good job of battling back and making them work for a strikeout, but you can't hit if you are constantly digging yourself into an early 2 strike count.

How many errors does freeman save our second baseman!?

that's all well and good, but you've got to be swinging with 2 outs and Simmons hauling arse to set up the tying run. Might not be indicative of Heyward as a whole, but there were 2 pitches he needed to at least swing at during that AB. I won't fault the guy for being aggressive in a situation like that

Happy Gilmore just won the gold jacket

Right they just went like 30 seconds without saying a word. Missing 649.

The slow motion looks like he did it on purpose.

Freeman should have been called for interference there.
