Not only is kemp striking out when all he's gotta do is put the ball in play, he is swinging at absolute trash pitches.

Yeah I don't think he saw a single strike in his two strikeout ABs.

Looks like Thor might be done, thankfully.

After 90 pitches? Damn, really being cautious.

Kemp was amazing for 60ish games with us last year.

Yes, he has h ad two straight awful ABs, but shite, he's trying to hit Noah Syndergaard. Probably the second best pitcher in all of baseball.

Give him a break. Its opening day.

Syndergaard has a blister on his thumb. Wouldnt be surprised if he is done for the day.

Mets also have a short bullpen with Jeurys Familia suspension.

The Mets have 12 pitchers on the active roster. They are not short in numbers. Maybe their quality depth is short, but I'm not sure if that's what you meant.

What is that section of Mets fans wearing the same jerseys? They look like a lame MLS superfan section.

I was talking more about how everyone moves back in their bullpen like Addison Reed was their setup man but is now their closer.

Come on Flowers. Throw the ball and get the interference call.

Flowers should have blocked the fricking plate. That was retarded being behind the plate like that.

Why does Flowers take the throw so far behind the plate?

I thought you couldn't block the plate anymore. That being said, you don't have to stand three feet behind it.
