I'm confused with the question.
You're basically asking what guarantees that Freddie would've continued to be Freddie.

Well considering he's been one of the most consistent and best hitters in the league (without relying on power) for a decade, I'd be totally fine with that production for a few more years.

Lol he homered again and set a World Series record for most consecutive World Series games with a homer

My point is anything could've happened and not necessarily WS MVP with us had he stayed.

I mean anything could happen with anything, but I think we all knew -- despite how much we didn't want it to happen -- that Freddie was still going to be good whether he stayed or left.
It wasn't that hard to figure out.

Soler is being traded to Ron Washington

Braves get Griffin Canning.
Good to shed the salary.
Ozuna/Soler/Acuña just wasn’t going to work.

Something tells me he will be moved in the not too distant future.

I assume just non tendered if they can’t flip him

Angels taking the entire contact for Soler. Very surprised we were able to get out of it so easily.

Great to free up the Soler money. What are the Braves thinking with Kele?

Time to go dumpster-diving.

He has a minor league option left. I think that pretty much locks up his spot on the 40 man going into the season.

Will be interesting to see how they handle Acuna, they will work him back slow, but will he have time at DH also? If so, Ozuna?
Still need to add a SS at some point.

I would imagine 4th OF with some upside is his future, kinda like he ended the year. He's a pretty ideal bench bat even if we have up way too much to get him last year.

Kelenic should be sent to Gwinnett unless he’s playing every day (which he shouldn’t be). Good bench piece for the stretch run for sure later in the year next year but they paid too much for him not to be playing every day in the spring and summer. Has to fix the walk and K rate issues from last season and that’s tough to do getting 8-9 at bats a week.

He's had around a 30% k rate his entire career, it's not exactly something new that developed last season. And with almost 600 career ABs in AAA already over three seasons, not sure how it's going to get fixed by a jaunt to AAA. There is always a chance a light bulb turns on I suppose, but I think he is what he is at this point for the most part.
