Yuck. We need Baldwin back and a major league SS.

Why Walt feels the need to have Olson and Albies hit back to back when they are literally murdering RISP opportunities is starting to get a little insane.

The concern level for Ronald is rising every day

We don’t see Michael miss many catches. No damage done.

I think we're officially in trouble. This offense is toast. Exactly what it's looked like the last 2 years.

Drake will be back and Ronald will get going. Nothing to get all wound up about. And this kid today can pitch.

I'm sure you were saying this about Austin Riley in 2024 and 2025, too. How you can speak in absolutes about this offense after what we've seen the past two seasons is mind boggling.

Jake Irvin was going to throw a no hitter against us until he hurt his arm. Jake Irvin is not a good pitcher.

None of this matters. Let’s see what the lineup and rotation looks like in September. That’s all that matters. The same for the Dodgers.

Thought that one would hit the wall.

So you don’t expect Drake to return and don’t expect a 28 year old Ronald to get going?

I do expect Drake to return, but Ronald being Ronald is far from a guarantee. If he hits 20 HR and has an .800 OPS this season, which is about where I expect him to end up, that wouldn't qualify as "getting going" to me.
He hasn't looked right at the plate all season.

It’s just a bit of a slump. It happens. We’re definitely missing Drake.

Riley has to lead the league in ugly strikeouts
Posted on 5/28/26 at 4:18 pm to sorantable
Still gonna have to get a bat at the break. We can’t be in a position to run this lineup out in the playoffs.
Posted on 5/28/26 at 4:18 pm to Broski
Seriously. One nasty strikeout for every hit.

There is 0 reason for Kim to be playing at all right now. Mateo is playing well and when he isn’t in the lineup it’s much more preferable to have Dubon play SS and Eli white or Yaz in the lineup over Kim
