Chris Sale is too good for this offense.

He has been the 2nd best pitcher in the NL all season and his run support for qualified starters ranks in the 12th percentile

Nola has not been good tonight. His stuff isn’t sharp and his command has been rough at best.

Having just 1 run against him is shameful

To be fair we have had a lot of hard contact and balls over 95 EV just hit right at people or at a launch angle just a little to low or a little too high.

Doesn’t excuse it though. Our situational hitting is atrocious

I have only been watching sporadically lately, the offense has been frustrating me so badly that I wasn’t enjoying watching as much as I usually do. This was EASY to see, and AA did nothing to really help this offense.

Dear God how much did Nola sweat in BR if he’s drenched like this on an 80 degree night in Atlanta

This team is way too talented to be a bottom half offense in MLB

Is it though? Is this team really that talented? It isn't 2023 anymore. Riley and Albies are shells of what they used to be. Yaz is washed. There are only three potential difference making hitters on this team now (Acuna, Olson, Baldwin).

just curious what our run scoring output is when Conecuh is all over the ribbon boards during our ABs at Truist - cause I wanna think it's pretty good -

From what I can piece together once our trade for Degrom fell through, which was agreed to by both teams until Degrom shut it down using his no trade clause, AA had no secondary plan to get a serious impact player.

Not that I wouldn’t have loved to have Degrom, but we should’ve been looking a major impact bat imo not a pitcher.

This is very easy for all of us to see, especially with how we got Mahle for literally nothing at all, and our pitching staff despite injuries has consistently been near the top of the MLB all season since day 1.

he wasn't eating hydroxicut pills then like he is now -

Nola fits Sebathia's pants tight in 2026 -

he also got into the sticky when he season turned in July - check his hat & pants -

And Harris. He’s arguably been our best player this season. He leads the team in WAR at least for non pitchers
