One run over five innings for Elder. You’re posting like a petulant child. Not a perfect outing, but you take those five innings from any MLB starter.

6 runs in his last 6.2 innings That covers his August appearances. Allowed runs in 4 of 7 outings.

He's hitting ninth. As long as he drives in a run or two here and there, moves runners along with sac bunts and plays decent defense -- he is giving us what should be expected from a rookie.

Giving him ABs in the regular season isn't killing anything. Even if they put Dubon at SS, Kim has sucked so bad that they need to keep Jarvis as a SS/PH/PR option.
