Great job Drake... keep swinging

I wonder if he is just worn down. Besides the time he missed with the oblique injury, he played every day this season. When he wasn't catching, he was DHing. Never got an actual day off when he wasn't behind the plate.

There's your answer as to why he didn't challenge the one earlier. He has no fricking clue what the strike zone is.

What an awful at bat.

Poor Riley is going to bat in the 9th with 2 on and 2 out. Would you take that?

Matt Olson career postseason OPS before tonight: .693 (and falling)

Freddie Freeman career postseason OPS before tonight: .865 (and climbing)

Yeah they have to have Sale pitch perfectly to win.

Really unfair to Sale to carry that pressure 30 starts a game and especially in the playoffs.

Why not keep Suter out there and make sure Iggy is fresh tomorrow?

Blame the GM for going into this season thinking that chronically injured pitchers starting the season on the IL suddenly wouldn't be chronically injured... and then doing minimal work to negate the lack of starting pitching at the deadline.

Makes zero sense. Even if he's not taxed for tomorrow, why the frick let their guys get a free look at him when we may need to use him in a save spot tomorrow?

It’s malpractice and the fanbase can’t go into 2027 believing AA will produce a true contender.

Truthfully, we’re fricked
