Andrew Friedman (Dodgers GM) was on Dan Lebatard's show and when asked what were his favorite player acquisitions, he said Shohei was first, but Freddie was second because he thought there was no chance Atlanta wouldn't keep him so they didn't even call him, until the news of the Olson trade. Essentially said he couldn't fathom letting a player of that caliber walk when he was still in his prime.
Well start fathoming, Braves fans

One other thing to point out about Friedmand saying that they didn't call Freddie until after the Olson trade, it means that the reports that AA leaked to the media about Freddie using the Dodgers as leverage for a bigger deal are bullshite.
Why would Friedman lie about when he contacted Freddie?
Just another example of AA gaslighting the public to excuse not spending big on the FA market.

I think it's more gaslighting the public because he wanted to do some big Brain move at the expense of losing a beloved player and didn't want to take the heat for it just in case it didn't go well. I really believe we would have paid what Freddie wanted and AA just didn't want to do it, now more than ever.

Game delayed an hour due to weather, but other than Schunk at DH, this will 99.9% be our opening day lineup. Based on what Weiss has said, the plan will be for Yaz to start in LF and Profar the primary DH.

Ronnie blasted a 112mph shot off the wall in left... pimped it, so it's only a single.

Hit to the wall. A single due to pimping.

looks like they are negotiating with cable and streaming companies, but will also be offering a no-blackout package through MLB.tv as well.
Any revenue guesses at this point?
