Profar tested positive again, likely to be suspended for the whole season

Didn’t sign a SP
New SS is already injured
Lost 2 SPs to injuries
LF / DH is out for year
Shaping up to be a good year

Surely there is a clause where you can void the contract. Insane.

Well he’s not going to be paid the $15 mil or so he would have gotten this season. Hopefully there is some way for the Braves to void the last year of his contract. What a waste of time that POS has turned out to be.

Time to give Boston a call and find out what they want for Duran. That should have been done this winter anyways.

AA going to use this as an example to not spend on the FA market until the end of time.

This is the kind of bad luck that happens when a team does virtually nothing to get better. The gods punish those just trying to get by.

Non-tendering Laureano after 2024 was a retarded decision that they're still paying for.

Not even trying to do snarky schtick here, what is the last good position player move that we've made?

Already proven to be false by everyone involved, except the Braves.

Goddamn, the Freddie argument gets so tiring. If he wanted to be here, he would be. It's that simple.

It's not even an argument at this point. He did want to be here, AA didn't want him here – at least not for 6 years. Is what it is at this point.
But I digress, back to the question, what was our last good position player addition? Ignoring the Freddie aspect of it all, we murdered our trade assets with the Olson acquisition, assets that we needed to fill other impending holes.

Probably finding Laureano off the scrap heap. He was a godsend for the 2024 team and he hit the absolute shite out of the ball. Just mind boggling that we let him walk. That's up there with the Murphy trade among AA's worst moves, IMO.
