I think Rory needs to get a large lead on the front 9 to win. if it's tied going down the back 9....I think Rory's putter will betray him on the 5 footers...kinda like ancient Mickelson used to have happen before he broke through. in other words Rory needs an early knockout or else....

In a nutshell... he thought the immediate postmatch interview format was stupid.
It wasn't fair to the golfers to have to do them... and he had a Masters to think about and didn't want to spend 20 minutes talking about Rory.

Cheering for Rory and Bryson to shoot even par and Captain FN America goes 6 under to force a playoff with Rory. Get a rematch of the 2016 Ryder cup in a playoff. Then the bad boy of golf ruins the career grand slam……

My guess is because the wind here in the area is supposed to be calm and the National tends to set the pins on Sunday where the players can score that Rory will probably need to shoot under 70 to win. I have a feeling someone behind him will go low.

Bryson being so slow is going to be a factor. He and Rose were way behind Rory and Conner’s pace yesterday. Not easy to play with someone playing at a completely different pace.
