Pretty much everyone agrees that the 3 GOAT NFL QB’s are Brady, Brees, and Manning. A quick look at their career stats will confirm this.

Drew Brees has already beaten Manning in the ‘Big Game’.

If he defeats Brady, Tom will be a career 5-4 in SB’s and Drew will have defeated both of his competitors in the discussion.

It would be VERY difficult (almost impossible) to say Drew Brees is not the true GOAT when he retires with all the career passing records and victories against Peyton and Tom on Super Sunday.

We shall see what unfolds this weekend!

Could you imagine what AAmericas economy would be like if grown men who work in business put as much time into their corporate spreadsheets as they do those defending there favorite nfl qb?

No need for a spreadsheet until someone says something completely incorrect

But its no surprise Brady fans are not a fan of facts

Do you really think the three greatest happen to be contemporaries or, might it be that passing has gotten significantly easier over the last 20 years? I don't agree that they are clearly the three best.

People are just caught up in the now. If someone offered me a prime Joe Montana right now to replace Brees for the NFCCG and Super Bowl I'd jump all over it.

Rodgers, Unitas, Young, and Montana are the only other Qbs I can think of that managed to statistically remain top 5 across the board against their counterparts for a consistent time period

What do you think Prime Montana did better than Prime Brees?

Wrong! Pretty much nobody other than Saints fans have Brees in the top 3 ever. Look at 50 lists of the top 10 QBs ever and you will be lucky if he is in the top 3 in one of them. I am not saying it is right or wrong, just saying what it is.

I seem to recall Joe Cool submitted 2 of the most dominating Super Bowl performances of all-time in XIX and XXIV and arguably the greatest QB season and postseason in 1989, set the passer-rating record since broken

Compare their performance with their peers of the era, and those 3 are still on the very short list of all time greats.
