I don’t get sitting Youngand playing Henley. Young is from NY and hits it a ton further than Henley. Plus it’s alternate shot. Henley giving up 50 yards on tee shots

Keegan essentially did the same thing ZJ did in terms of lineup. Picked the name guys and left the ones outside of the “club” on the bench this morning

You can’t tell me Cam Young, Ben Griffin, Sam Burns and JJ Spaun can’t give you more than Morikawa and JT. All of them were playing better golf coming in and all of them are on the bench for guys that are laying eggs.
It’s not so much the guys on the team as much as how they are paired / utilized. Europe consistently nails their usage and we do not.

But the reality is that if you did a draft of all the players on the course right now, only Scottie and Bryson would be picked before every Euro was off the board.

There are four sessions. He was trying to let the new guys play their own ball.
In hindsight, I’m pretty sure he wouldn’t send out Henley again, but they played pretty decently at the President’s Cup and it’s hard to expect Henley to putt like crap.
I will heavily be wagering on the USA shortly if the odds get above +150

I still can’t believe they had Henley hit first off 1. Not that there’s a huge difference, but every data point I saw said the longer hitter should be off the first hole.
