I think after this is over more needs to be made of the course set up. Granted they couldn't control the rain earlier in the week but the lack of rough and overall easiness of Bethpage has worked so hard in Europe's favor. There is no reason for them to play defensively when ahead since they can just fire at every single pin. Its also turned the entire event into a putting contest which clearly the US sucks at.

Also, the home squad can control the pin placements.
There weren’t many matches that made it to the 17th hole, but the number of Americans between clubs both days is inexcusable. Every par 3 should be set up to where the home team is dialed in on the distance. To have a pivotal hole confusing the Americans is crazy.
