to expand some on this since the MSB board is slacking and slow today

SH threw O. Galley and he went all 7 in only 88 pitches. Gave up 2 hits, 2 walks and 6Ks

most of SH damage was done against Frederick of SA. He gave up 6 hits, 5 runs and 2 walks in 4 innings. They brought in Reddicks the last 2 innings. but in 6 innings of work, SA had 0 strikeouts.

they play today at 4 and if needed 630. I would imagine they will pitch Flanagan in game 2. If game 3 is needed prolly be Ardoin or maybe Harlow.

Last night Loreauville beat Port Allen 10-0 and lead series 1-0. Play tonight at 6.

De La Salle Beat Northlake Christina 2-0 in game one, and again this morning at 11 they won 2-0. they move on to play PVB

yea lots of teams with byes are scrimmaging. Barbe did DH with St Louis last night. Barbe needed to get guys bullpens and see live hitting, St Louis needed to find a guy who could eat innings by throwing strikes and getting some soft contact to help their big arms

bunch of others scrimmaged last night too. all exhibition games.

Neither team really extended any pitchers and both subbed some. CCA outplayed BM, though. I'd say CCA cut pitchers shorter and subbed more than BM.

ETA. I assume Trosclair is CCA's ace. He didn't pitch that I saw. Champagne started and pitched an inning I believe. Navarro is BM's ace. He didn't pitch. But they threw both Tingstrom brothers and 2 of their other innings guys.

If I were McDonogh 35 I’d forfeit and be happy with my district championship rather than take the long ride out to Leesville to get run ruled twice… it was so absurd Monday when we run ruled them 15-0 that we were the team not going to the state playoffs and they were

That’s a Sulphur level matchup in the first round that WM plays. Pretty crazy that it worked out that way. I think WM has ended their season the last 3 years. Never a need for extra motivation when it’s the playoffs, but I’m sure Sam Houston will put every ounce of effort they have into every pitch. Looking forward to a great matchup. Whatever scenario plays out with whoever wins wouldn’t surprise me at all. Safe travels on the way up and back home.

It's absurd to quit before you play the series you deserved

At Christo Rey vs. Lafayette Christian series a few years ago, the umpires called an end to the first inning in both games of a double header before there were three outs.

LCA put up 20 or so runs both times. First time I've ever seen that happen.

But at least they showed up to play. I am sure the team behind David T would have wanted to play.
