Heard Thibodaux beat Catholic BR today. Leave it to the bayou boys to do something yall Yankees couldn’t do. Division 1 Non-select appears to be wide open with Barbe and WM down this year.....

Define down. WM is 5-0 other than playing Catholic. 5-0 this week against Airline 12-4, John Curtis 11-1 in 5, Destrehan 9-4, St. Thomas More 8-3, and Byrd 4-1.

Thibodaux did get a win today 2-1 over Catholic in their 4th game of the week after losing 10-0 and 9-2 in the first 2 games of the series. Heard Catholic also almost lost to Terrebonne earlier in the week. Had to come back in the 7th to win. Congrats, like you said they did something WM couldn’t do.

So nobody gonna answer why Barbe sucks this year? I really wanna know. Its been a dominant run

They don’t have the pitching that they have had during most of their run. Just a down year (by their standards) for their pitching staff. And their offense, while never really dominant, is a bit down as well.

… if I recall, they struggled early last year as well, which happened when you play quality teams..

They went 34-7 last year and lost their 6th game in May. They are 6-6 this year and have been 10 run ruled twice. Last years team would run rule them in 5

Explain the logic here. It’s their poll and they are welcome to rank whoever they want. They had WM at 7 last week after the dismal start against Catholic. WM goes 5-0, beating Destrehan 9-4 and it was 9-1 in the top of the 7th when WM pulled half the team. Destrehan jumps 4 spots to 4 from 8. WM stays at 7.

That is pretty stupid. Your other wins were better than theirs also.

As long as my nephew is having fun and playing for CHS, LET'S GO OWLS!

To add, they are lacking “stars” like they’ve had in years past. Griffin is hit or miss at the plate, their SS is below average, Courville doesn’t look the part to me.

Are they not crowding the plate like the Jordan brothers used to do?

We’ve gotten back to 5-4 but if we’re over .500 at the end of this week it will be a hell of an accomplishment

None of them at Suarez… these were the games we all wanted Coach Thomas to schedule

Saw Hahnville was handled easily by OC, not sure if they saved a pitcher or just generally had an off game, but they shouldn't get beat 13-0

Dunham has Lim at the plate and nothing else

Now the last 2 you'll have to show up

I'm just looking forward to some baseball weather for a change

ETA- Was told Lim has a hamstring injury and will be out a while

Does anyone know what is going on with Lim. He hasn't played the last 4 games? Didn't know if he had an injury. His last game was against Neville on Feb. 15th.

they have a lot of injuries right now, but bunch will be back in next 3-4 weeks

before you say they suck or down...might want to wait and let season play out

same with WM

everyone saying both of those teams suck... but what you dont understand is they see the ace of every other team. well playoffs are a 3 game series. plus both have played really hard schedules.

lets let it play out before saying they suck. they have 3 sec commits, like 8 other commits...hold off on the sucks title

pitching has been down but with miller coming on, littleton still being stud and the other kid coming back from injury in like 2 weeks...they will be fine.

i would be surprised if them and WM are not in the final 4.

huh?

they are not 6-6, JV games do not count

they lost to Lutheran south, Live oak, St Louis and Zachary

where you getting 6 losses?

pretty sure they are 6-4

and yea i expect them them to lose another game for the next month

as far as run rule them...lol no. and wait until people get healthy before throwing that sucks around. many said same thing early last season after extra against LO, the loss the Flower mound, img etc
