there 9th grade class is crazy good and has 3 kids in the top 10 in the state. the 2029 class(current 8th grade) is really really good too

as far as the transfers...they have the best 2 kids from Jennings that their parents are like royalty and own businesses in Jennings sending their kids to sam houston.

I think it is borderline criminal to put those kids throwing or swinging aluminum in today's conditions down here, much less anywhere more north such as Monroe, but I do understand the dilemma of coaches and all of the preparation, hotels, and other ramifications that cancelling or rescheduling causes.

St Louis beat barbe 4-3 (moreau pitched and dominated striking out 7)

sulphur beat Zachary 3-2

Sulphur has a really good weak, after starting with losses to catholic, iowa and erath and starting 1-3 they won 4 out of 5 beating Beaumont Kelly, Live Oak, STM and zachary and only loss to opelousas catholic

i have kids that will attend both schools but i was happy to see it. It was personal for Moreau...essentially he didnt make the Barbe team as a freshman and was told he wasnt good enough
