I don’t see how they finish tomorrow. It’s going to be a shite fest around 11 with the weather coming in. I wonder if they just play it real slow so they can stall and finish Monday?

Nicklaus also made his mark in an era where Player and Watson won eight majors, Palmer won seven, and Trevino won six. No one else in Tiger's era has won more than five. Nicklaus had better results in the majors than Tiger has and he had tougher competition.
You’re describing how the field is better now...

There was a 50 percent chance of thunderstorms today and I got about 4 drops. On me

Big Cat winning is what I'm pulling for most, but Brooks winning would continue an unreal run he's been on.
Most curious to see how Molinari plays. At The Open last year he was a machine in the final round. Similar to today.

Hopefully the weather doesn't frick this up.

ou idiot fanbois care nothing about anything but Tiger. frick you all you fricking tool sheds. If Eldrick plays the best, all around, he deserves to win. If he doesn’t then someone else deserves to win. It is really that simple.
If he doesn’t win I can’t wait for you all to go cowering back to the soccer board talking about ghey soccer things.
Now that's a quality melt. Bravo.

When Tiger gets to 18 majors and 19 runner ups in majors he will be the better golfer between the two, not until then. I look forward to Monday's thread about why this is complete BS.

You take Tiger and use the equipment of Persimmon I’m not sure he gets the same results now.
This is such complete bullshite it's not even funny.
Tiger would have 20+ majors with the old equipment. The old equipment separated the men from the boys completely. There was no room for error. Modern equipment bmhas made everyone a contender. There's a reason Jack played against multiple multi-major contenders and Tiger plays against a sea of major contenders.
ETA - study after study has shown great golfers had a far greater advantage over their peers with older equipment, but fools here think it was purely a talent thing. That's hilariously ignorant.

If Tiger was 2 back of anyone else right now, I’d fully believe Tiger takes it tomorrow with how he’s playing. Molinari is a machine though. Maybe Tiger can catch him and force a playoff, will be tough though.

If anyone is worried about DirecTV not changing their guide and recording tomorrow, you can set a manual record by going to List / Manage Recordings / Manual Recording Setup. I just set it to record CBS for 8 hours starting @ 8am.
ETA: Here’s the hourly. There’s a chance the get it in if it just stays rain and not lightening.

The European Tour did a hickory challenge during a practice round at the Scottish Open a year or two ago where the players tried hitting old hickory shaft irons on a par 3. Most of them, without ever hitting the club before, picked it up and grooved the ball on to the green. These guys at the top are machines these days. They’ll stroke it no matter what type of club you put in their hand.

Yea, that reason is Tiger helped build the popularity and accessibility of golf so the pool of talented players is exponentially larger.

Tiger will win. It's time. And the green jackets will cheat for him again if it's close. As they should.

Looking at the radar, no way they get this in before the line of storms. Question is can they resume and finish today?
