The tour average carry for PW is 136 according to trackman. So, you're 10 yards farther than the average PGA tour player and can only muster a 24 handicap? How flat are you hitting that PW?

Clearly it can be done. Tiger was warming up. His first full swing on the range, not even swinging hard. 150 and everything within a very tight grouping. I don't care who you are, that is impressive carry for a PW.

If I'm playing smart, I'm in between clubs at 150. If I'm trying to muscle it, I absolutely hit PW from 150, and a little bit beyond that.
As someone has pointed out before, my clubs are probably bent a bit. So my PW is probably a 9 iron.

I tend to hit the ball pretty high, actually, but probably 40% of my shots are fat and go 80 yards.
I'm not bragging - I'm bad at golf - but every so often I catch one clean.
