Dont golfers get tired of the make believe "career grand slam"?
win all four majors in the same year, then they'll all have something to crow about, other wise its fing stupid
Lolwat? Only like 5-6 golfers have ever done that and I'm pretty sure no one has ever won all four in the same calendar year. Rory is only like 28 which makes it even more impressive imo
The Tiger Slam was the first and only time anyone held all four majors at the same time iirc.

McElroy has the luck running his way this weekend so far.

Bobby Jones is the only player to win all of the majors in the same year.

Rahm's got a pretty big gut for his age. Big boy.

Technically at the time but the Masters and PGA championship didn't exist yet iirc.
He won the US Open, US Amateur, British Open and British Amateur.
Tiger is the first and only player to hold all 4 modern majors at the same time

Rory and Reed would be a fun pairing

No, not kinda. He's the only one.
Jones is the only player ever to have won the (pre-Masters) Grand Slam, or all four major championships, in the same calendar year (1930). Jones' path to the 1930 Grand Slam title was:
The Amateur Championship, Old Course at St Andrews, Scotland
The Open Championship, Royal Liverpool Golf Club, Hoylake, England
U.S. Open, Interlachen Country Club, Minnesota
U.S. Amateur, Merion Golf Club, Pennsylvania (September 27, 1930[17])
Edit to add: Not trying to be contrarian, but history is history and Jones is the only Grand slam winner in golf.

Setting up to be an amazing round tomorrow.
A Fat Pat vs Rory final group tomorrow would be a hell of a show. Ryder Cup rematch with The Masters on the line.

Fleetwood absolutely on fire at -6.
