Just saw his quick interview with SKY sports. Dude is hauling arse immediately back to Texas to celebrate with a nice Stouffers lasagna and a cold glass of milk at home. No interest at all in seeing town, but he did have breakfast a few times in Portrush and it was lovely.
He’s got a Battle of Austerlitz diorama in the hobby room that needs to be finished.

I’d give the guy a break if I thought it was just a religious perspective. When asked what gave him the calmness on the course, he said ‘I don’t really know’. I was expecting a mention of his faith or something, which I could get. He didn’t even do that. I’ve come to the conclusion this guy is just as milquetoast as it gets.

Scottie is just that guy. Glad he won if the other options were Harris English, Wyndham Clark, or Chris Gotterup lol

Wish they would play more Opens at Royal Portrush. Great looking gold course.

Just a fantastic track.

If you give me Scottie sitting at -17 i'm taking him. Tiger would definitely have a good shot at beating that though haha

Not a fan of The Open being the final major. They need to love the PGA back to August. “Glory’s Last Shot.”

Tiger won the British by 8 shots in his prime. It’s still Tiger.

Not against Scottie… I’m taking Scottie if Scottie is leading, tiger if tiger is leading. If the are tied? Scottie.

Agree. They did it for FedEx cup which nobody cares about except for the paycheck

They did it because the PGA moved to Dallas and you can’t play in Dallas in August

Tiger won the British open by 8 strokes against Scottie? When was that?

Scottie beat prime Tiger? When was that?
My point was, not that it needs explaining, Tiger dominated his competition more than Scottie has during his prime. It’s really not even debatable
