He's got the front 9 ahead of him. I'd slow down on the leading talk right now.

He's 2 under. If he didnt collapse on the final 4 holes yesterday he'd be 7 under and leading. That's just math.

Even if he shot 2 over instead of +5 on those holes he'd be tied for the lead.

Every golfer under par in Round 2 is playing the back 9 currently. There are six golfers on the front 9 even par for Round 2. It's just math that these guys at the top right now are going to fall back before the round is over.

Its disappointing that as well as he's shot today he hasnt made up for the hole he dug himself going in yesterday.

Yep

We once had someone in a major thread say downhill putts were no harder than uphill putts

I mean I understand if we are talking about random people. But Burns was in a playoff last week to win the Canadian Open and is playing incredible right now.

He was 3 under yesterday going into those holes and is 4 under through 9 holes today.

He shot 2 under on that same 4 hole stretch today.

To deny it was a collapse at the end of a 5 hour round is weird. Almost like you are trying too hard.

Koepka seems like good value now at +1600

Brooks about the collapse on the Front 9 here.

Cam Young has the best score of the early guys heading into the Back 9 in R2 but he's collapsing on the 9th hole currently. If Morikawa can hang on he'll be top-6 tonight.

Bryson said recently that downhill putts are easier to make than uphill putts because, roughly speaking, the ball tends to fall towards the hole on a downhiller and away on an uphill one

What in the absolute frick is going on in this featured group feed?

They are debating, and saying that they can’t, whether a TEN handicap can break 200 at this setup.

I don’t think I’ve ever heard professionals on television have a conversation this retarded in my life. They’re actively explaining how a 10 can’t break 200.

How out of touch are these people? Don’t they even play golf?

They’re still talking about it. Deep in conversation about it for 6+ minutes now.

Also hilarious they’re, in this scenario, not giving the amateur a caddy or spotter. So that in itself is absolutely fricking insane to say.

Give us a week to prepare for any course, a caddy, and a spotter and these idiots don’t think we’d SIGNIFICANTLY lower our scores?

This is the dumbest shite I’ve ever listened to in my life.
