If you get your ball moving that slowly that close to the hole, it should stop.
That's wild.
And it doesn't even collect on the fringe, it goes to a rock infested wasteland

That is absolutely ridiculous.
"Let's make the greens so fast that your only hope is to chip it directly into the hole from off the green. Like basketball. With golf clubs."

Looks perfect to me. But I'm sure the USGA will cave to pressure and slow them down.
We go through this same song and dance every year. Best part about Kevin Na going to LIV is that I don't have to see him make his whiny videos about how tough the conditions are.

The bitching has never made sense to me unless it's getting bad weather both days on tee time draw. Everybody is playing the same greens and they have an ample amount of time for preperation

I'm of the opinion that E should be the winning score in a US Open, but I'm kind of a golf sadist.

I like a half dozen guys under par, winner around -4

Let's go back to 06 and 07 when the winning score was what.. 5 over?

Feels like we will just watch Scheffler pull a Marty Kaymer & win by 8 while everyone else is over par

Brutal. That's probably a little too fast
I'm all for punishing the pros/like seeing them struggle a few times a year, but that is wild.
#2 keeps them fast all year though. I have a friend that is high up at Pinehurst, basically wines and dines all the rich guests, and another that is a greens keeper in training there, and having the fastest greens all the time is a top priority. Could have went this year but just didn't have the time
There's a kid on Tik Tok that is a cart boy or something there and he posts videos all the time of him just touching the ball on certain parts of the green and showing how it'll roll all the way off. Just makes you go, "yea that's impossible to play on." :

Beth page black says howdy...
The USGA has said "bye-bye" to Bethpage.
Bethpage is now in bed with a less prestigious major, the PGA. But they are getting a Ryder Cup out of it.

LIV Houston was just too important of an event to miss.
