I just don't know why you'd admittedly not play golf for 3-4 months and then show up to a US Open after playing one weekend of tournament golf the week prior. Phil said he traveled and skied every day in Montana. Yeah, probably not going to be ready for a brutal course at the US Open at 52 years old.

It is nuts considering only 24 golfers are at -1 or better at the moment. Where did you see that? Or did you mean to say +1?

I wouldn't say that, but the PGA Tour needs guys like him and JT to play balls out the rest of this year, especially during weeks where both LIV and the PGA have events going on.

Piot is also -1 and Shaun Norris is even as well but those three are the only ones in the top 40.
I actually kind thought Fatty P was going to play well here, but this course is not a good fit for a lot of the LIV guys who could still challenge.
