One is enjoyable to watch and puts a frick ton of emotion into it, and the other is Koepka. Give me Spieth or Rory over him, for example.

There was a 228 page thread on the Masters last month and 29 page thread on the PGA Championship but you're right. There's a combination of reasons why the PGA Championship has sucked. It's a blowout by a boring golfer nobody cares about and the tournament is happening in the middle of May when there's a ton of other major sporting events going on i.e. Preakness Stakes, NBA Playoffs, NHL Playoffs, FA Cup, etc.. But you're kidding yourself if you don't think Eldrick missing the cut isn't a major reason why nobody cares about this tournament.
Fun or boring doesn’t necessarily = good or bad ratings.
This thing isn’t boring af because Tiger didn’t make the cut..

Maybe I’m misremembering 2002, but none of the majors at Bethpage—even with Tiger or a semi-close field—have been overly exciting. The course is a beast, but it doesn’t lend itself to exciting golf.
