Sucks that Wake couldn’t deaden that bunt and win 1-0 but yeah that was baseball at its absolute best.

Lolol im likely older than you kod. There is a reason baseball is a dying sport and they are trying to do everything they can to keep it alive via pitch clocks, pick off attempts, etc. Hell womens softball gets higher ratings. Its a borefest

Totally agree. I'm not much of a big baseball fan and usually watch most of the games I do watch during the CWS and the MLB playoffs and World Series.

Tonight's game was great viewing with the 2 starting aces putting on a clinic how pitching should be done. Then the relievers come in and carry on where the starters left off.

That play by Tre' Morgan coming off 1st base to field that bunt and get that out at the plate was a thing of beauty.

Then the walk-off homer in the 11th to end the game was pure magic.

That game was baseball played at it's highest level and a pleasure to sit and watch.

It was the best college game I’ve ever seen. The Braves had some epic games in the NLCS against the Pirates. But the best MLB game I’ve ever seen was Game 7 of the ‘91 series, even though we lost. frick you Kent Hrbeck and Dan Gladden. And Jack Morris while we’re at it. Bastards
