Helicopters really arent all that safe, and Kobe was know for frequently flying in helicopters, so if you looked I bet there is a decent amount of posts about him crashing

Yeah, apparently Kobe used a helicopter in place of a car to get around LA traffic for a long arse time.
The only fringe part was in he was in finance stuff with groups of Epstein's ilk.

I know people don’t believe this stuff nowadays, and I’m not saying this guy killed Kobe, but we really ought to watch what we say.
Lol wut. Say I have inside info that Kyler Murray likes to free climb in the Grand Canyon a lot. I make a tweet 8 years ago that he's gonna get himself killed in a climbing accident.
Was it I who caused his death, or was it Kyler's reckless behavior?

In an ironic twist, the helicopter landed on him.

And before Kobe bought the helicopter, I heard he stayed at a hotel suite next to Staples the night before every home game in order to avoid the traffic. Think about what a pain in the arse that must have been doing that 41+ times a year. Hard to blame the guy for saying frick it and just using a helicopter to avoid the hassle.

I literally said:

I’m not saying this guy killed Kobe
So my question to you would be, what are you gaining by trying to prognosticate this man’s death? If you’re concerned about him being reckless, why wouldn’t you say “I’m concerned that he might die in a climbing accident”?

What good comes from predicting that someone is going to die a horrible, accidental death?
I’m not saying he killed Kobe because I have no idea what impact saying something like that would have on reality. But I do know that absolutely no good can come of it, only bad.

Dude people say shite like this all the time.

What if a family member sees my tweet and persuades their loved one to stop free-climbing?

Maybe the world would be a better place if they didn’t.

You’d get the same outcome by voicing your thought as a concern, rather than declaring that he is going to die.

Perhaps. But then you really wouldn't know that nothing good would come of it - would you?

Well, based on my beliefs, speaking death over people generally isn’t a good thing to do.
Like I said in my first post, I know people don’t tend not to believe in the supernatural. What I posted was from the Bible.
But consider this. The guy who made the tweet appears to have been a Kobe fan. At a minimum he feels absolutely horrible and likely guilty about what he tweeted (based on tweets he’s made since Kobe died). He is objectively worse off today than he had been if he had never made that tweet.
So even removing spiritual elements, only bad things can happen in situations like this. Nothing good can come of it so why do it?
