Poor bastard. Half of the comments thinks he altered the date to make it look a prediction and the other half blames him for the crash because he put "negative energy" out into the Universe.

While seeing this weird stuff I cant help but want to know the context behind why someone decided to do that? I dont mean it in a derogatory fashion towards the creator, but it’s just a very random thing to do at the time. (2017). Same goes for the tweet. (2012).

I sifted through a bit of the twitter garbage. Apparently the post was made on the same day there was a blurb in the LA Times about Kobe offering to fly Steve Blake to practice. It went on to say that he used the chopper a lot. Nothing ground breaking, but reason enough for someone to randomly tweet that he would die in a crash.

Apparently Kobe took helicopters frequently to avoid LA traffic, used them to go to Lakers games and get around the greater LA area. I'm guessing the person was aware of that and referencing it.

There are apps that allow you to back date a tweet. This is fake and someone using Kobe’s death for clout.

Plenty of ways to get around twitter rules like that, including apps that allow you to back date.
This happens for everytime some major tragedy goes down
