If Sparty had another title or two then I’d consider them one but they don’t

At the game. Are these refs as horeshit as they appear to be in person? Zion can’t do anything wrong.

I don’t consider them one because their winning history started less than 50 years ago. Plus Purdue still holds all time B1G and most consecutive B1G titles

To be in that tier 2 is still elite though.

Nah they aren’t. They’re in tier 2. I mean would you consider Purdue a blue blood?

Are you comparing Purdue over the last 25 years to MSU?

MSU has 7 final fours in that time, purdue has 0. MSU is 8th all time in Final Fours, Purdue all time has 2.

I mean that's basically comparing Kentucky to LSU

Edit: I think people would consider MSU more of a blue blood than UCLA at this point. I think most consider them a top 5-7 program, which in football would make them a blue blood.

Hell, Duke's success is only since the 90s

I’m not. Already competed 5 years in college athletics and don’t need to live vicariously through these guys.

I think Zion is an incredibly gifted athlete, but my god does he get away with whatever he wants and the god forbid you touch a Duke player. Almost to the 1 and 1 already. Sparty has no shot if the officiating keeps up.

WInston for MSU is blatantly shoving off to get separation

Ohio State...11 Final Fours, 1 National Championship
Michigan State...9 Final Fours, 2 National Championships.

If Michigan St is a blue blood, then so is Ohio St

If you consider the top 8 programs all time in basketball blue bloods than yes i would say both may be.

if you are only doing top 5, then neither are. And since 2000, MSU has been top 5 for sure
