Washington just had to take off 6 extra seconds during their three plays and not giving it to their injured RB and the game was over. Unreal

This is unreal. Washington had the ball with 55 seconds left and UT had no timeouts. We are watching the impossible.

Can someone explain the rule about the clock stopping for injury? I swear I can't EVER remember the clock NOT running again when the ref blows the whistle ready for play

To be fair, Washington being forced to take a timeout for an injured player is a stupid rule

I thought I'd seen all manner of cruel ways to lose but giving your opponent more time because one of your best players gets injured is fricking crazy
