Both him and Moss get a lot more flak than they deserve. People can't handle brutal honesty I guess.

And he’s 100% right about everything he said.

Except about Mooch. After all his drops that day, Mooch still called a play for him that resulted in the catch II. Owens then cried like a baby on Mocch's shoulder. On Jerry Rice Day Mooch called plays that landed him with a franchise record 20 catches in a game. Owens going after Mooch is silly.

Riiiiight. Except there is zero video evidence of him puking. How is it possible to not have any video of a player puking in the huddle at the Super Bowl? Oh, and the person who pushes that story? Yeah. It's TO.

Did some googling and I may very well be wrong. I apparently bought into that story. What I do know about that game is TO went all out coming back weeks earlier than he should have.

I don't know if he quit, but that might have been the slowest hurry up offense I've ever seen run at the pro level at the end of a game.

My memory could be faded after 10 years though

I lived in Valley Ranch when TO was with the cowboys. I was pumping gas one day when I heard an insanely loud speaker system coming from across the street. It was TO in his blacked out Lambo listing to the weirdest trap music I’ve ever heard. He was at a car wash and he was washing his car and dancing his arse off. He must have had 4 12s in that thing. The best part of it was he was wearing a TO replica jeresey. Like the kind you get for 30 bucks at Academy

If you don't think TO was awesome then you are stupid. When you are awesome and teams still want to get rid of you then you are the a-hole. Btw I don't even like TO but he would have probably been okay in today's NFL it was a little different at that time.

Well to be fair, I'm not in the huddle.

But T.O. said McNabb straight up quit on their last two drives to try and win the Super Bowl.

That's on the record.

quote:

For those who have forgotten, Owens played a brilliant game in Super Bowl XXXIX, catching nine passes for 122 yards in his return from an ankle injury that had caused him to miss the playoffs.

McNabb, however, ran a painfully slow two-minute offense with the Eagles trailing in the fourth quarter, and Philadelphia came up short, losing 24-21. When Owens became unhappy with his contract the following offseason, he suggested that he should be paid more than McNabb because, “I’m not the one who got tired in the Super Bowl.”

I don’t see the word quit anywhere in there.

Also, just cuz he says it doesn’t mean it’s true

Ohh TO said it? Well then it must be true! He never bashed the shite out any other QBs he played wi... ohh... wait...

Again, find somebody other than TO saying he quit. (which actually isn't what he is saying there, he was calling McNabb out of shape) I mean damn, the dude was so fricking toxic in locker room even the Indoor Football League team he was on cut his arse.

Was he a great player? Yes. But he was also an all time douche who wore out his welcome on every single team he played for.

Well at least he didn't hide his selfishness like most people do. Probably detrimental a team, but I respect the honesty of it.

You realize that never happened, right?
