Heard Felix got broken serving for both sets and had 3 DFs the first time.

I can't imagine what it must be like to give a break back to Isner after you got one.

I’m getting a weird feeling about Roland Garros if Rafa can’t play.

Imagine that story line.

He will play. He fakes injuries so he can get medical clearance for his PED’s.

"Because I am sort of that living legend, I have that aura, people know it's maybe something special they can tell about kids that they have seen me play or kids can tell their parents they saw me play."

that's very....smug ;lol:

to an extent that shows a lack of awareness on what to say and not to say even if it may be kind of true.

eta it's set up pretty well for Fed to return to #1 in the world again

All of that was preceded by:

"It seems like to me that sometimes people come and watch me play and they do not know if it’s gonna be their last time.”

On answering the question of why people still come to see him play. Because he's a living legend who they might not get to see play again because he'll retire soon. It's not as eyebrow raising in context.

GOAT

Amazing that he almost pulled off another Sunshine Double at his age.

think Jared even moved down there as a kid or something. I seem to remember Safin and Murray went to Barcelona as kids. Maybe the answer is to ship your kid to Sanchez/Casal, not IMG

True story. I think Donaldson's Dad has money-a-plenty, so it was no big deal to just ship him off to south america at 14. I do think it was a wise move, but, as others have noted, it's only going to do so much for you if your talent dictates otherwise.

Didn't realize how much Autistic J played on clay (58 matches), but Felix has already played 104 by age 18. And he's 71-33 so he's not out there just to practice.

Thanks for this info. I was about to look this up, but now I don't have to.

I've reached my breaking point with Delpo in my fantasy league. This no news shite is infuriating. I may regret this in a few months, but I'm gonna drop him and pick up FAA. My biggest reservation was that FAA's momentum might get stalled out as we transition to the clay season, but it sounds like he's prepared to keep the positive climb going.

Oh jesus tap-dancing Christ, dude. That context takes none of the smugness off that quote.

"I'm a living legend".

Have you ever said that out loud?
