What makes you say this? Higgins is a mismatch every game on CB2s. He may not be top 5 like Chase but he’s a top 20 or so guy in the league.

They will also let Tyler Boyd leave as a FA after this year. His cap hit this year is $10M.

Higgins isn't a WR1 I agree but he is certainly a WR1/2 because he has produced like a 1 on a bad team and a 2 on a good team. He will get more than what the Bengals offer.

He is 27, still extremely productive and under contract for 2024.

What a horrible take It’s now two years in a row you see what happens to a team that has an elite QB but no WRs. Rodgers last year in GB, now Mahomes in KC.

Lol, the horrible take is yours. You are comparing an entire season to 1 isolated game numbnuts. The Chiefs trade Hill BEFORE last season. Why wasn’t it an issue for them LAST SEASON. See if you can figure out what was different last night for KC vs last season.

The Bengals still have Chase who did Rodgers have besides Adams in 2021?

Tee isn’t the guy who drops the ball or fricks up in Key moments, that’s usually Boyd tbh. It’s why I always chuckle when casuals say that Burrow has 3 #1 receivers. Boyd is a complete frick up in the biggest moments and can barely get open against a defense’s 3rd best corner while Ja’Marr and Tee get doubled.

It is kind of surprising that the Bengals are trending towards not resigning Tee, bc they had an opportunity to probably trade him this offseason for a 1st rd pick and maybe a 3rd or 4th rd pick on top. Their GM basically said we aren’t trading Tee Higgins. You will have to find your own WR, in response to the Tee trade rumors.

Letting Tee walk for nothing would be poor asset management.

Allen is so desperate to be a celebrity on the level of Joe, that he’s dating one, while Joe, dates his college sweetheart.

Joe also plays the game the right way, while Allen just tries to make the ESPN Top 10 Highlights all game. Hence the reason why the Bengals dominated the Bills twice last season. Made their bum asses quit twice.

Also, bonus fact, Josh Allen only started playing well as a professional after he started training with Joe Burrow in the offseason in 2020. Rookie “celebrity”, Joe Burrow taught Josh Allen how to play QB.

They won’t pay Higgins or Mixon

Mixon was never going to get paid. He’s old, slowing down, and has off the field issues.

It was always going to be Chase over Higgins. Higgins wants WR1 money, but he’s not. He disappears too much.

Burrow and Chase better be good enough to carry their offense because with Burrows contract and I’m assuming Chase’s huge contract upcoming

They’ll be fine. The bengals will continue to hit the draft and FA for playmakers.

Bengals just have to hit on draft picks going forward and try to get a few free agents to take cap friendly short term deals like JuJu did for KC.

The Bengals are trying to win the Super Bowl this year. Trading Higgins this past offseason would have not helped them win a Super Bowl this year.

There’s 32 teams in the league. Tee isn’t a top 5 WR like Chase is, but there are absolutely not 32 WR better than Higgins. He’s a WR1 on most other teams

They drafted Charlie Jones from Purdue and Iosivas from Princeton for a reason.

Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase hinted that Burrow may take a pay cut to allow the team to keep some of the big players around him.
“At the end of the day, I don’t think Joe’s too worried about how much money he’s going to make because he’s already making a tremendous amount,” said Chase. “It will work out for us…I think Joe knows what he wants and how to set up his contract to keep some of his weapons around him. I think that’s the biggest part for him.”

This doesn't prove your point. Jamar even said "keep some of his weapons"

Joe isn't going to frick up the market by taking less. It's an unwritten rule between players when it comes to contracts.

Bro, give up. Chase was talking about Joe taking less and lsu fans ate it up. It wa stupid for chase to out that out there and stupid for people to beleive it

It's a canned trained response. That you think it's some major indictment is a bad reach

Which lsu fans? I wanted Joe to get paid

They can't afford to pay two stud WRs.

It's either Chase or Higgins. Who would you choose?

Higgins is 24, that's all, they're WRs are all really young. And they probably have the best starting 3 in all of the NFL in Boyd, Higgins, and Chase. The Law firm of Boyd, Higgins, and Chase I should say.
