Attendance at the ULL/SU game proves Louisiana fans want and support intrastate games. Can you imagine the crowd for a Tech/ULM game at either place? Compare that with a Tech home game against Idaho or Nevada. Make it happen!

If Tech and ULM opened their seasons against each other, it would always be a good sell. Neither team has had the let-down of knowing that they suck balls, the weather is nice, the sun will be up for the first half, the chicks will be dressed a bit scantily...perfect tail-gating weather.
When I run for governor and win, my first act will be to order ULM and Tech to play on Labor Day every year (this way the schools will avoid playing at the same time as LSU, so fans will have one less excuse to skip the game).
